Affiliates

One SouthCoast Chamber has affiliate organizations that work side by side with the chamber but may have a separate board of directors, program of work, and/or finances. These organizations focus on specialty areas and allow us to achieve more for our members. Additionally, theses affiliations provide multi-faceted value for members’ investment and access to resource that improves business success.

One SouthCoast Chamber Foundation

One SouthCoast Chamber Foundation is a 501.c.3 charitable foundation that supports initiatives of importance to the business community. The foundation has for many years worked to advance quality educational options in the region, including early childhood education, early college programs, educational attainment and quality, arts and culture and community advancement. The Foundation is governed separately from the Chamber and injects more than a million dollars per year into the community with programs like Viva Fall River and Fall River Arts and Culture Coalition. The Foundation also serves as an in-kind fiscal agent for Buy Black New Bedford and other programs.

One SouthCoast Chamber is one of the ten largest chambers in the state to band together to develop a statewide agenda and work with the state legislature to provide a united front to support business.

Southeastern Massachusetts Alliance of Chambers

The Southeastern Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce Alliance (SMCCA) was formed to address regional challenges and opportunities in current and future legislation at the State House in Boston and Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. The alliance is also intended to serve as a platform to work with members of the legislative delegation on policy formation as well as response to existing initiatives put forth at the statewide or national level that directly affect Southeastern Massachusetts.

One SouthCoast Human Resources Council

The SouthCoast Human Resources Council is an affiliate of One SouthCoast Chamber of Commerce comprised of human resource professionals and business owners that meet on a monthly basis to network, share information, and discuss mutual human resource issues.

The Southeastern Massachusetts Visitors Bureau (SEMass) is the official regional tourism council for Bristol County, Massachusetts. The mission of the Southeastern Massachusetts Visitors Bureau is dedicated to promoting Bristol County as a leisure travel destination in order to stimulate the Massachusetts economy, create jobs, and support the growth of travel and tourism related business. One SouthCoast Chamber of Commerce serves as the fiscal agent and administrator for the SEMass. Programs and initiatives of the bureau include co-op marketing; trade show participation; FAM tours; matching tourism grants; and other destination marketing activities. Read More!

Leadership SouthCoast

Leadership SouthCoast (LSC) is a civic leadership development program that provides emerging community leaders with a powerful learning environment and a dialogue that will last long after the program has been completed.

FRACC is a collaborative, open-source, member-based organization dedicated to advancing arts and culture in the city to create a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable creative economy.

Viva Fall River embodies the vibrant spirit and community pride that defines this remarkable city. We are an active tourism organization that guides locals and newcomers alike to Fall River’s vivacious and diverse community. Viva Fall River champions economic growth and celebrates all the city has to offer: creative arts, rich ethnic and cultural traditions, diverse businesses, a picturesque waterfront, spirited events, and so much more.

Partnerships

One SouthCoast Chamber of Commerce aligns itself with likeminded organizations to better accomplish our goals and initiatives. Combining volunteers, staff and related community organizations provides a collective strength enabling us to achieve more for our members and the region as a whole.
