Tom Menchi has been a dedicated SouthCoast resident for over 40 years, actively supporting local businesses, workforce development, and community engagement. He is a longtime employee of Check Collision and Toyota of Dartmouth and currently serves as the Vice President of Fixed Operations and Community Relations at Toyota of Dartmouth. In this role, he oversees multiple departments and fosters strong community partnerships.

As an Ambassador for the One SouthCoast Chamber, Tom plays a key role in connecting businesses, fostering new partnerships, and supporting economic development initiatives. He is passionate about ensuring that businesses in the region thrive and that Toyota’s operations contribute positively to the local economy and community well-being.

Tom is also deeply involved in philanthropic and workforce development efforts. Through his leadership, Toyota of Dartmouth has been a major sponsor of numerous local programs, including Junior Achievement, the Bristol Community College Earth Day Fair, the Boy Scouts of Westport, and the Lions Club of Mattapoisett. Additionally, Tom actively collaborates with local vocational schools, MTTI Technical Institute, New England Tech, and Mass Bay Community College as an Advisory Volunteer Member, helping prepare students for careers in the automotive and technical industries. His dedication to community service earned him the 2018 Community Service Award.

When he’s not working or giving back to the community, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, mentoring young professionals, and staying active in local events. Whether it’s supporting workforce development initiatives or engaging with business leaders through the One SouthCoast Chamber, Tom is always looking for ways to strengthen connections and help the SouthCoast thrive.
